This old and retired D12 class Klingon Bird of Prey is under the command of Jack Colburn.
Acquired by his daughters Klingon family and given to Jack after his retirement from Starfleet, they spent a year repairing and returning it to its former glory.
Reregistered as civilian transport, Jack and his daughter, Joanna, started ferrying goods and materials across the Alpha and Beta Quadrants. Not wanting to use his name, due to his Starfleet connections, they started trading under the name 'Talon'.
Their reputation grew in civilian circles and their missions and cargo became more risky.
